A wedding Celebrant is a rather wonderful human who understands the importance of celebrating your love story in a unique and bespoke way.
A wedding Celebrant will design and conduct your personalised wedding ceremony, and it will be completely tailored to reflect your preferences, beliefs, and values.
Unlike traditional religious or civil ceremonies, your Celebrant-led wedding will offer greater flexibility in terms of content and location.
Choosing a Celebrant means you get to put your love story centre stage, and have your day your way.

A Registrar is an official employed by the local council to conduct legally binding civil ceremonies, often with set scripts and limited personalisation. (That’s why ceremonies can be dull and forgettable when you have a Registrar!)
A Celebrant, on the other hand, offers bespoke ceremonies, allowing for a more personalised, engaging and unforgettable experience for you and your guests.
Because honestly, since when was the legal bit of any situation fun or romantic?!
Read my blog about why Celebrant led ceremonies are the natural choice for modern couples.

My Celebrant services start at £749, my MC services start at £749 and my Celebrant & MC Package starts at £1,123.

N.B - I only work with 1 couple per day, so I won’t be rushing off anywhere (unlike a registrar!)

In England and Wales, Celebrant-led ceremonies are not legally binding, yet! Though we are hoping this is set to change in the coming years with Marriage Reform already being on the agenda for the current government to review.
Couples typically complete the legal formalities separately at a registry office before or after their celebrant-led ceremony.

I’m more than happy to travel the country (and the world) to help you celebrate your love story.
Travel within 40 miles of NN3 is included in the pricing. Mileage over 40 miles will be priced at 45p p/m.
Depending on location, overnight stays may need to be considered but we can discuss that upon booking.

Couples usually choose to attend a brief legal ceremony (either before or after the big wedding day) at a registry office.
This is known as a statutory ceremony, where you’ll complete the necessary legal declarations. You’ll need at least two witnesses to be present for this part.
Some couples opt to mark this day with an intimate dinner together, or drinks with their closest family and friends - but saving the big romantic ceremony and celebration for the wedding day itself.
Read my blog here about the different ways you might want to mark the occasion and why.

I’m based in Northampton and included in my pricing is 40 miles travel from NN3.
This takes you in and around Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Warwickshire, Buckinghamshire, West Midlands, Leicestershire, Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire.
But if you’re beyond this area, please know that I won’t rule anywhere out to help you celebrate your love story! I have a car (and a passport!), and additional costs can be discussed!

Absolutely not! One of the many great advantages of having a Celebrant-led ceremony is that we can conduct it anywhere.
